Smart consumers interview potential real estate agents before deciding on whom to hire.

1. How Long Have You Been in the Business?

Whether the agent your considering is new or experienced does matter to a certain degree.  A newer agent with a great mentor can be better than an experienced agent who continues with the same out-dated steps as they did 5 years ago.  Times are changing and so should the realtors sales & buying approach.

2. Experience that Makes the difference!

Find an agent that is keeping up with the newest resources available.  An agent that has Internet Marketing skills above others will truely make a difference, since 80% of all buyers search the internet.

3.  What can happen when a Realtor doesn't keep up with the Times?

Any business that continues with the same steps, never upgrading, never implementing new technology, not continually learning whats new, will slowly fall behind.  You must have an agent that is on top of the ever changing, fast moving, internet opportunities.

4.  Know their means of Internet Exposure.

Ask them for the list of Websites that your home will be listed on, yes, I said a list of websites.  One is not enough!  High exposure to the internet is KEY!  A realtor can only do the best job for you if they have the best internet marketing skills.
